Presidents Weekend
Last weekend saw members of Glossop & District Golf Club take part in the Presidents Weekend Competition’s. On Saturday members played for the President’s Medal, which resulted in a win for Kyran Collum who beat Wilf Walker on a card playoff, both players returning a nett score of 67. On the Sunday there was a 4 Ball Texas Scramble the team of Andrew Shepley, Dave Neil, Graham Bailey & Martyn Lloyd returning a winning score of 52.7. On Sunday evening the president who completes his 2 years in office at the end of the year hosted a dinner for 90 invited guests at which he thanked all the people who had helped to make is time as President a happy one.
