Glossop & District Golf Club Professional - PHILIP HAYNES
The Professional at Glossop, Philip Haynes, started as a junior member at the club at the age of 12. He turned pro in 2004 after working to gain Level 3 coaching at Hazel Grove Golf Club before moving to Glossop in May 2010.
Philip is a proven teacher and provides lessons for all age groups, lessons that can be adapted to suit the golfer’s needs.

Junior Coaching
Glossop and District Golf Club has commenced a programme to attract juniors (7- 16) to the club.
Over the past two decades the club has been extremely successful in Junior Golf with three of our juniors joining the professional ranks and one entering course management. We feel it is time now to target the next generation of juniors.
JUNIOR COACHING SUMMER 2012
After Easter I will be undertaking coaching in schools across the Glossopdale area. I will be teaching Tri-golf in at least 3 primary schools and also teaching 2 classes from St Philip Howard secondary school Golf Extreme.
There will be opportunities for coaching of non members of the club throughout the summer. I will be running a series of taster sessions for youngsters using the Golf Foundation's "Golf Passport" schemes. The cost of these hour long sessions will be £2.50 per person per session. Times and dates for these will be posted very soon.
All existing juniors and those joining for the season will be given 20 hours free group coaching at the club during the summer season. Dates and times upto the end of June have been posted on the club's Juniors' page.
In addition there is an opportunity for each junior member to have one hour's one to one tuition F.O.C.
